Child Safety

All students in care of our program must sign in and out of attendance daily. Children are not allowed to leave the program unless a parent picks them up. Also, parents must sign a pick up list of all family and friends allowed to pick up children from the program. Also, during trips and outdoor walks: teachers must pay close attention to all students and a head count is done before and at the park. We will most definitely make sure all children are supervised at all time.

Staff are always required to head count children on a frequent basis throughout the day. This is not only required indoors but outdoors as well. Head counts are to be checked against the attendance clipboard. Head counts must be completed before and after a transition with a group of children from one activity area to another.

Attendance daily record should indicate arrival time, departure time and absences helps to establish accurate account of all children in the event of an emergency. Maintaining consistent attendance records and constant supervision skills ensures the safety of the children in our care
